GHLS Batch '97 Elementary Reunion

It all started when I uploaded in Facebook last month my grade 2 to 4th year high school class pictures from Grace Hope Learning School. I never thought that it would go this far. I have received so many comments from different friends, get to be updated with then classmates and kept in touch with long-lost batch mates. An elementary reunion was finally set.

When: July 8, 2011, 7 PM onwards
Where: Navarette Residence at California Village

The weather did not cooperate with us last night. It was raining cats and dogs. Some batch mates did not make it due to various reasons but to all those who attended, I really appreciate the effort and the support that you have all contributed, be it food, drinks, prizes, money and presence. Our first ever elementary reunion was indeed a success. I want to thank the following people who attended last night’s event:

Glen Anoche
Born Bryan Aquino
Arvin Joseph Arimado
Belinda Cruz
Marizon Dantes
Ryan de Guzman
Jason de Leon
Myra Embuscado
Michael Genove
Joseph Israel Gopez
Diana Mae Macaso
Gether Manlangit
Olan Ray Manuel
Toniruth Manzano
Ricardo Navarette
Francis Xavier Nollas
Kristan Padilla
Bernis Rabino
Jessar Rosales
AntoniƱo Santos
Mark Anthony Ulep
Sheila Mae Urbano
Mark Anthony Villacorta

I would also like to specifically mention the names of these two people who, in spite of not being able to physically join us, still managed to contribute something for the event: Emily Jane Baudin for the plates and utensils (I hope your kid’s doing well now) and Jeffrey Cruz for the Php 1,500 cash donation (Though you are in the far away lands of Dubai, we really appreciate such a great help. We allocated it in funding the prizes for the games.)

I must say that I really had such a great time with all of you guys. It was nice seeing all of you after 14 years. (To others, it could actually be more than that! Take for example, Billy. I have never seen you since Grade 3 so that was like 17 years?? Hahaha!!!) It was also a good thing to catch up and be informed with what has changed and what we have become from our totoy and nene days. Indeed, it was super FUN! This is just one of the sweet memories that I have with you all and I, for sure, will cherish it. ‘Til our next reunion…
